The year 2010 is drawing to a close, and the Kroenert-BMB-Drytec group of companies has every reason to look forward to 2011 with confidence. Thanks to our customers, we have exceeded all our forecasts and expectations for the current year by some measure. There is a willingness to invest again – great motivation for us to continue developing innovative concepts for coating and lamination. Our goal is to give our customers the competitive edge!

Kroenert-BMB-Drytec has used this time of economic crisis to strengthen its research and development capabilities. Today this is paying off; despite staff downsizing and performance degradation, newly developed products already account for almost 30% of our total orders. Some of these innovations are presented in this newsletter.

We are looking forward to 2011; we believe we are well-equipped and ready to meet the challenges and tasks of the New Year.

We wish each of you a peaceful and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, health and prosperity.

As the leading manufacturer of Coating and Laminating machines, the Kroenert-BMB-Drytec group takes its social responsibilities very seriously. Of particular concern to the group is the development of the next generation through suitable education and training.

Product development is regarded as highly important at BMB (Bülach/Switzerland). A dedicated test stand for cutting and winding trials is currently being developed for comprehensive new product trial runs. This equipment will be available and fully functional early

Since summer 2010, besides the machines at the Technology Center in Hamburg, a coating machine has been available at the Technical Center film stretching unit in Siegsdorf. This service has been made possible by cooperation with Brückner Maschinenbau of Siegsdorf, the leading manufacturers of OPP and PET stretching units.

Until recently film coatings were produced predominantly offline. Last year Kroenert released a new technical concept for single and simultaneous double-sided coating of BOPP and BOPET films in their i-News. Since then inquiries about this machine have continuously increased, especially as its efficiency is not restricted to new plants. The Kroenert Coating...
